Rang a 3 looked at Autumn leaves and how the colours change. We read the poem ‘Rún an Fhómhair’ (‘The Secret of Autumn’) together as a class and we discussed the different colours mentioned. With crayons we traced leaves using those colours. Rang 3 are also learning a handful of poems and rhymes associated with the changing weather of Autumn. These are on display outside our classroom as well.
We’re looking forward to our school trip to the forest together as a class, to see if we can find any other interesting changes in Autumn!
