An tÁisaonad at St Mary's University College have launched a new website featuring some of the books from the Clár Luath Léitheoireachta scheme that we use in school. Extra books will gradually be added to the site. Children in Rang 1 should read from Banda 1 (band 1), Rang 2 - Banda 2 and so on. It is also good practice to encourage your child to read books at a lowere level / band, so that they can reinforce their familiarity with the high frequencey words in Irish. An audio version of the book is available on the site, which will help your child with any unfamiliar words. There is also a link at the top right hand corner of the page to the interactive games for each readiing band (1-3 only) from the CCEA website.
